Hi all

A quick suggestion for the next version of SiteX: it would be good to integrate the search function with the various browsers - you know, the "Search" box in the top right-hand corner of most modern browsers.

From memory, this is accomplished by including an OpenSearch XML specification with SiteX and referencing it from the base code. Anyway, I did it with WordPress once and it was pretty easy.

Here is the code from my Wordpress test site.

The XML file in /sarkle.xml

Sarkle
Search the Sarkle news archive.
sarkle news wordpress
admin@sarkle.net

And from the theme header file:

EDIT: You'll have to edit the post to get the code, as the CODE html tags don't appear to be working properly.

Now we have 2011 but the search field is not in the right corner from the templates.

I use the theme corporate bluepearl.

This has not been added because there were no other requests for it since 2008
